About
I was drawn to social care because of a strong desire to support families, children, and people experiencing vulnerability. After completing college, I went on to earn my Bachelor of Social Work in Canada, where I was born and raised. Since then, I have worked closely with vulnerable families, children, and individuals living with physical and mental health challenges, supporting them with compassion, respect, and practical care. Alongside my professional experience, I have also been a carer for my mother, who is living with Alzheimer’s disease. Supporting her has given me a deep, personal understanding of the emotional, practical, and long-term challenges faced by individuals and families navigating chronic illness. This experience has strengthened my empathy, patience, and ability to provide calm, consistent, and person-centred care. After relocating to Australia and becoming a mother to two boys, my professional focus naturally expanded to supporting women and families during major life transitions. I worked as a specialist in prenatal and postnatal Pilates, helping women strengthen both their bodies and confidence during pregnancy and early motherhood. I am also a trained birth and postpartum doula, providing emotional, physical, and practical support to women before, during, and after childbirth. Across all my roles, my approach is grounded in genuine care, empathy, and encouragement. I am passionate about helping people feel supported, empowered, and proud of their everyday achievements, no matter how big or small. I strive to create a safe, nurturing environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and confident in their ability to navigate life’s challenges. I am passionate about living a balanced, active, and connected life. I love spending time outdoors, especially going for walks in nature and along the ocean, which helps me stay grounded and present. I practise yoga and Pilates regularly and have a fully equipped Pilates studio at home, including reformer Pilates and a Wunda chair. Movement and wellbeing are an important part of my daily life, and I enjoy supporting others in feeling strong and confident in their bodies. I am a self-confessed foodie who loves good food and is always excited to try the best new restaurant in town. I also love travelling and experiencing different cultures, with Tuscany in Italy being one of my favourite destinations — perhaps not surprising, as I have a little Italian in my DNA! I speak fluent French, which is my mother tongue, having been born and raised in Quebec, Canada. I am highly organised and like to plan ahead, which helps me provide reliable and consistent support. At the same time, being a mum to two boys has taught me how to manage a certain level of chaos and think quickly on my feet. This balance of structure, adaptability, and warmth allows me to respond calmly and effectively to changing situations while keeping people feeling safe and supported.
