About
I love working with people, and my current government role requires working on a computer full-time! So I'm happy to help at dinner time and all weekend. I'm keen to be with real people doing real activities, and I grew up in large family, near the bush. I trained as a Cordon Bleu chef and used to work in restaurants. I'm a budding writer too. I have worked at the Opera House, Sydney Theatre Company, and been an extra in films and tv. I can teach how to cook, how to shop economically, how to store food, and how to make great nutritious meals out of very simple ingredients. I can help with English as a second language, have a keen interest in other cultures, and people of all ages and life experiences. I would love to make a difference to people, particularly older people. I also love dogs, gardening, swimming and walking.
