About
I wanted to become a social carer because I have always felt drawn to and wanted to make a difference to the lives of people who just need a little more help to get through life than others. I love finding ways to connect with people who experience the world differently and understanding their perspective whilst helping them to be more independent and reach their full potential on their own terms. I love to be active and think it or really important for our minds and bodies to do some movement. Being from the UK I have played soccer since I was young and still play now. I have natural creative side and love engaging in arts whether a gallery trip or just trying out new paints at home. I’m also huge bookworm I love a good book and also a good film at the cinema. I was a kindergarten homeroom teacher for two years teaching ESL in Seoul! I taught a range of subjects from science to P.E to art to classes from 4 - 7 year olds which taught me so much about communication, adaption and connection and was an amazing experience overall. It also gave me heaps of ideas and experience when it comes to organising fun crafts, games and trips!
