About

My name is Renee & I am a Support All rounder. I absolutely love my job and have a passion for helping people. My aim is to provide both Disability support & Aged Care support. I love to help clients get the most out of life & find joy, gain confidence & maintain independence. On a personal note, I am confident, friendly & outgoing. I'm always up for a good chit-chat or a laugh! At the same time, I am mature, grounded & can sense and respect when quiet time may be needed. English is my first language. I have personal/employment experience working with children, adolescents, adults & aged individuals. My personal life has allowed me to gain valuable experience in Disability Support & Aged Care Support. I cared full-time for both my mother & father during the 8 years they were fighting terminal illness, leading up until 2022. (Mum & dad were 67 & 69 years old at the time) I also provided care & support for my Grandmother on a part-time basis for just over 1 year in 2006/2007. (Gran was 83 years old at the time). I currently work for a wonderful Registered NDIS Provider as a Disability Support Worker and have held this position since May 2024. I have employment experience working with children, having worked previously in multiple creches for a period of 7 years. I also have experience (both personal & professional), a keen interest & understanding in providing support as it relates to mental health. I have a Cert IV in Youth Work obtained through Tafe NSW. I provide weekly disability support to a beautiful little boy who is now 6 years old, this has been ongoing since June 2024. I have a current & valid Driver's Licence, First Aid/CPR Certificate, Working with Children Check, Police Check & an NDIS Worker Screening Check. I look forward to Working with you! 🙂
