About

I’ve always been someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and making people feel less alone. What motivated me to become a social carer is the idea that small actions like spending time with someone, listening to them, or helping with everyday tasks can make a big difference in someone’s life. I value connection and kindness, and I find it really rewarding to support people in a way that improves their wellbeing and independence. I also have experience working in childcare and with aged care, which has strengthened my ability to support people across different stages of life. I believe I would be good at this role because I’m patient, understanding, and a good listener. I’m also reliable and respectful, which I think is really important when working closely with people in their personal space. Through my experience in childcare and aged care, I’ve learned how to adapt to different needs, communicate effectively, and stay calm in different situations. I try to make others feel comfortable and supported, and I adapt easily to different personalities. Overall, I genuinely care about people, and I think that comes through in the way I interact with them.I’ve always been someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and making people feel less alone. I try to make others feel comfortable and supported, and I adapt easily to different personalities. Overall, I genuinely care about people, and I think that comes through in the way I interact with them. I’m someone who enjoys a mix of relaxing and active hobbies. I love spending time outdoors, especially going on hikes, as it helps me clear my mind and stay active. I also enjoy watching TV shows in my downtime, which helps me unwind and gives me something to talk about and connect over with others. Family is very important to me, so I spend a lot of time with them, whether it’s small get togethers or larger gatherings. I also have experience babysitting, which has helped me develop patience, responsibility, and the ability to care for others in a calm and supportive way. In terms of skills, I’m a good communicator and listener, and I’m naturally empathetic. I’m reliable, organised, and able to adapt to different situations and people easily. I enjoy creating a positive and comfortable environment for those around me, and I like being someone others can trust and feel at ease with. I come from an Arab background, which has shaped my values around respect, family, and caring for others. I’m very family oriented and naturally take on a supportive and responsible role, which reflects in the way I care for people. I’m also able to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and make them feel comfortable and understood. I’m friendly, approachable, and patient, and I take pride in being reliable and trustworthy. I handle situations calmly and with empathy, and I always try to create a positive and respectful environment for those around me.
