About
I wanted to become a Social Carer because I am driven by service. I value connection, respect, and human dignity, and I want to contribute in a way that positively impacts someone’s daily life — even through small acts of care and consistency. Some of my hobbies include creative photography, writing, exploring new places, spending time in nature, and attending community markets and networking events. I value activities that inspire reflection, growth, and connection. Interesting facts about me is that I’ve travelled extensively, however, my most recent experience last year was travelling across outback Australia in a motorhome, capturing stories and moments along the way — experiences that deeply shaped my perspective on life, loss, and living fully. And after a 36-year corporate career, I followed a heart-led path into photography, end-of-life support, and spiritual guidance — blending structure with soul in everything I do. I’m a qualified Reiki Master and Mental Health First Aid certified, which supports the compassionate, calm approach I bring to both my professional and volunteer roles.
