About
I love working with people and supporting them to live full, meaningful lives. I’ve been working as a support worker since 2024, and during that time I’ve developed a strong, person-centred approach focused on building trust, encouraging independence, and creating positive, supportive environments. Before moving into support work, I volunteered as a Surf Life Saver for almost 20 years (and I’m still actively involved today) and worked as a Learn to Swim Instructor, which really shaped my patient, calm and caring nature. I also have previous experience in aged care. These roles have taught me the importance of empathy, communication and meeting people where they’re at. I’m very outdoorsy and active, I love the beach, walking my dog, camping/4WDing, swimming and running. I really enjoy supporting people to get out in the community, try new activities, and have opportunities they may not otherwise access. Whether it’s everyday support, community participation, or simply being a consistent and reliable presence, I’m passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of the people I support.
