About

What motivated me to become a social carer comes from both personal and professional experience. Caring for my mother through bipolar disorder and schizophrenia taught me patience, empathy and resilience from a young age. Over time, I realised how powerful genuine support can be in someone’s life. Combining that with my work as a trainer and my passion for helping others, I found purpose in guiding people to build confidence, independence and a better quality of life. My motivation to become a social carer comes from a genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact in people’s lives. Through personal experiences, including caring for my mother, I developed strong skills in patience, empathy and understanding. Supporting others has naturally become both a strength and something I truly enjoy. I also integrate my background in fitness and routine-building, turning what started as a passion and hobby into a way to help others build confidence, independence and a better quality of life. Hi there, my name is Felipe. I aim to bring a calm, positive and enjoyable experience to those I support. I’ve always been around people with disabilities and have cared for my own mother with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, shaping my patience and empathy. I currently work as a personal trainer and support worker, supporting clients with a range of needs and disabilities. I enjoy helping people build confidence, structure and independence. I also worked as an English teacher in South Korea with children aged 4–14, including students with ADHD. I’m respectful, reliable and truly care about making a difference.
