About
I love taking care of elderly people because I came from a family were I grow up with my Grandmother and as the eldest among her grandchildren I was very fun of her and helping her to meet all her personal needs. Growing up as a lady I got married to my husband, I continuous doing the same job for his mother and father who were elderly people too. So I have more than 15 years of experience in this fiend. In all my years in marriage I have been the one taking care of husband's parent like being a close friend to them and helping with daily activities like shopping, cooking, house keeping, and personal needs. Even though I was educated but up to first degree living my parent house but 80% of my time was to give them the attention they needed as my husband was their only son. I was born in Sierra Leone and according to my culture taking care of elderly people is attached to having a lots of blessing because we believe as you make them happy you will receive unmeasured blessing that is why I love taking care of them and find joy in being a companion and a friend to them because there is a lots of life experience one will gain becoming very close to elderly. I enjoy doing this job since it is my interest to be a blessing to others and touch the life of people who are in need.^& ^&In a situation where a community member is involve in an accident that is a minor one like having a deep cut with a knife or any object and he or she is bleeding, I know how to put pressure in the wounded area to stop the bleeding (first aid treatment) and call for an ambulance (911 my local emergency number) or if my client have an attack and having breathing difficulty I know how to check the person's airway, breathing, and pulse and if necessary begin CPR while I call for reinforcement or ambulance.^&
