My name is Evelyn, and I am a dedicated and compassionate support worker with over six years of experience supporting both children and adults, ranging in age from 6 to 82 years. I have worked with individuals living with a variety of disabilities, including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and Dementia. I am known for being kind, patient, and approachable, and I take great pride in building genuine, respectful relationships with my clients. I am passionate about helping others achieve their goals, improve their quality of life, and live as independently and confidently as possible. I treat every individual with dignity, empathy, and the same care and respect I would expect for myself and my own family. Supporting people to follow their dreams and live life to the fullest is not just my profession, it is something I truly love. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, entertaining at home, watching movies, listening to music, and hosting BBQs, which reflects my warm and community-focused nature. My goal as a support worker is to empower others by providing reliable, respectful, and person-centred support that makes a meaningful difference in their everyday lives. I love animals, i have a 4 year old chihuahua called Natello. Love to go for long drives around Melbourne. I enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles. Most of all i love my 3 kids and my 2 grandkids. I’m a calm, patient, and friendly person who genuinely enjoys helping others feel comfortable and supported. I’m a good listener and I build trust easily, which makes people feel relaxed and understood when spending time with me.
