About

I became a Social Carer because I genuinely love supporting people and creating a safe, calm space where they feel understood. Through my work in residential care, school wellbeing, and youth support, I’ve seen how powerful it is when someone has the right encouragement and support beside them. I believe I’m well-suited to this work because I’m patient, compassionate, and trauma-informed in my approach. I’m confident building trust, supporting emotional regulation, and helping people feel more in control of their daily lives. Most importantly, I care deeply about the people I work with and am committed to helping them feel supported, respected, and empowered. Some of my biggest passions are spending time outdoors and going on little adventures, whether it’s a walk, exploring nature, or visiting the beach. I also love relaxing with a good book or playing games in my downtime. I’m someone who enjoys learning new things and growing my skills whenever I can. I’m also incredibly passionate about animals, especially dogs. I absolutely love dogs and will pat them every chance I get! Overall, I’m a friendly, curious, and outdoorsy person who enjoys connecting with others and finding joy in simple, meaningful moments. I’m someone who brings a calm, supportive energy to the people around me, and I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and easy to talk to. My background in counselling and youth support has helped me develop strong communication skills, emotional awareness, and a trauma-informed approach to care. I’m also very adaptable and able to stay grounded in challenging situations. Above all, I genuinely care about building positive, respectful relationships and supporting people in a way that feels safe, empowering, and uplifting.
