Hi, I’m Dan. I provide practical, respectful support to help people live the life they want to live. I’m currently studying a Certificate IV in Mental Health and moving into disability support after more than 25 years working in people-focused roles. Throughout my career I’ve trained and supported others, broken tasks down clearly and helped people build confidence in practical, everyday skills. I’ve worked with a wide range of people, which has strengthened my patience, empathy and ability to adapt my approach to each person. I’m calm, steady and comfortable working at your pace. If we agree on something, I follow through. Outside of work I enjoy walking, gardening, cooking, painting, reading and creative writing. I also studied film and made a short film and documentary. I’m originally from Manchester in the UK and am an avid Manchester United fan.
