About
Hi, I'm Ava! I currently volunteer with an elderly lady. I help her with tasks such as groceries and appointments, and provide her companionship by talking with her and going out for coffee. This has provided me with much joy and fulfilment and I would love to continue this work to support other people and ensure they have a happy and fulfilling life. I am passionate about helping others and have developed a genuine commitment to supporting the vulnerable people of our community. I enjoy trying and learning new things but have always loved the outdoors, animals, and live experiences such as concerts and nature walks. I also have my drivers license and am happy to drive where needed. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology and will be undergoing the honours year in 2026. I have volunteered for almost two years with the same elderly lady, whom I visit once a week where I provide friendship and help with her with tasks such as appointments and groceries.
