About
Having recently retired from a long corporate career, I want to use my skills and experience to help others in the community to enjoy the best life they can. I'm a friendly, calm person who is a good problem solver and motivator so I'm able to deal with most challenges and look for ways to get the best outcome. I've always been a keen sportsman, playing cricket and football, as well as several other sports in my younger life. These days I'm a keen golfer, either with friends or my wife. I'm an avid reader, most adventure, crime and biographies. I'm a keen gardener, and have a large garden of my own. I'm a pretty good handyman around the home and can undertake most renovation or repair tasks confidently and also have a large range of tools and equipment to take these on. I'm also pretty handy in the kitchen, I love to cook and can help plan and prepare meals either for eating immediately, or to stock the freezer for later. My career has given me the chance to travel the world and deal with people from varied backgrounds and cultures. I'm confident and comfortable dealing with people from all walks of life and cultures.
