I am passionate about people and looking at ways to make a tangible difference in peoples lives. Apart from my volunteering for an Aged Care organisation, I'm also in progress to complete my Diploma of Counselling I am eager to apply my strong communication skills and empathetic approach to community service, knowing that I'm making a difference in the lives of others and helping vulnerable peoples gain some level of independence Reading Walking Cooking Spending time with friends Church activities Im also currently looking after my 80 year old mum. Ive always been largely empathetic, however this full time care is consistently teaching me a great deal about slowing down, waiting patiently, understanding frailty and just being patient.
