About
Having worked in my own business as a cleaner, I have experience with the elderly and I see the difference it makes to them to have a clean home. I would like to be in a position where I am contributing to someone's life in positive way. I also enjoy engaging with people and listening to their life stories. I am currently doing my Certificate IV in Ageing Support which will be completed in December. My past work history has predominately been in Real Estate Administration & Property Management. I have 2 younger boys aged 7 & 8 who well and truly keep me on my toes and 2 older children aged 24 & 27. I have computer skills, I can show clients how to pay their bills online, how to read emails or assist in looking up information. Having experience in Horticulture (Diploma) I can help them with their plant health. I enjoy cooking and learning about different cultures food & recipes. I enjoy reading and listening to podcasts. I'm happy to read to a client, assist them with a podcast of interest or even an audio book. I love the beach and warm weather, horse riding, walking my dog, watching movies or a good TV series and camping with the family. In summary I'm happy to provide assistance with meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, shopping, companionship, travel to appointments/activities, dog walking & plant health.
