About
I was drawn to becoming a Social Carer because I genuinely enjoy supporting people to live more independently and feel confident in their day-to-day lives. I find it really rewarding building meaningful connections and being someone people can rely on, not just for practical support but also for companionship. I believe I’ll be good at it because I’m patient, understanding, and adaptable. I take the time to get to know each person and what matters to them, so I can provide support that’s tailored and respectful. I’m also very reliable and organised, which helps create a consistent and safe environment for the people I support. I enjoy staying active, whether that’s going for walks, going to the gym, or getting out and exploring new places. I also love things like coffee catch-ups, shopping, and trying new food spots. I’m a very organised and practical person, so I’m great with daily routines, appointments, and helping keep things running smoothly. I also enjoy creative things like putting together thoughtful gifts or planning little outings, which I love incorporating into the support I provide.
