About

What motivated me to become a Social Carer is my genuine passion for helping others and making a positive difference in people’s daily lives. I’ve always been naturally empathetic, and through my volunteering experience in Italy and my current work in aged care, I discovered how meaningful it is to support someone’s independence, dignity, and wellbeing. I believe I’m well suited for this role because I am patient, reliable, and attentive to individual needs. I understand that every person is different, and I always aim to provide personalised care with respect and kindness. I also bring a strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills, and a positive attitude, which helps me build trust and create a comfortable environment for the people I support. I’m a very active and curious person, and I enjoy a mix of simple and creative activities. I like going for walks, staying active, and spending time outdoors, as I believe it’s important for both physical and mental wellbeing. I also enjoy cooking, especially preparing healthy meals, and I like learning new things that can improve my lifestyle and the way I support others. I have a creative side as well — I enjoy working on small projects, organising spaces, and finding practical solutions to everyday tasks. In my free time, I love travelling, reading, and spending quality time with friends and the people I care about In terms of skills, I’m patient, reliable, and very attentive to people’s needs. I have good communication skills and I’m naturally empathetic, which helps me connect with others and create a positive, supportive environment. I would describe myself as a warm, reliable and positive person who truly cares about others. I’m originally from Italy, and throughout my life I’ve had the opportunity to travel and live in different places, including London and Spain. These experiences have helped me grow a lot as a person, learn new languages, and better understand different cultures and ways of living. I’m adaptable, open-minded and respectful, and I always try to create a comfortable and supportive environment for the people I work with. I take my role seriously, but I also believe that kindness, patience and a genuine connection make all the difference. I’m always willing to learn and improve, and I bring both professionalism and a human touch to everything I do.
